Eksplorasi Dampak Literasi Generative AI terhadap Kinerja Akademik Mahasiswa: Perspektif Etika dan Kecurangan Akademik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi Generative AI terhadap kinerja akademik mahasiswa dengan menggunakan perspektif etika dan kecurangan akademik. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi generative AI di kalangan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik. Alat Generative AI seperti ChatGPT, Deepseek, Blackbox, dan lainnya telah menjadi sarana yang populer, namun penggunaannya juga menimbulkan dilema etis serta potensi kecurangan akademik yang dapat memengaruhi integritas akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa untuk mengidentifikasi sejauh mana literasi generative AI memengaruhi kinerja akademik mahasiswa, baik secara positif maupun negatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling–Variance Based Structural Equation Modeling (VB-SEM) dengan pendekatan Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengkaji implikasi etis dari penggunaan teknologi tersebut serta hubungannya dengan kecurangan akademik, seperti plagiarisme dan ketidakjujuran akademik. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi institusi pendidikan dalam merumuskan kebijakan terkait penggunaan Generative AI yang mampu menyeimbangkan antara inovasi teknologi dan integritas akademik. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi secara bertanggung jawab guna mendukung pencapaian akademik yang berkualitas.
